A MAN armed with a piece of wood held up a brothel in Brisbane's inner-north.
The man entered the Abbotsford Road brothel in Bowen Hills about 7.20pm and demanded money while threatening the receptionist with a piece of wood.
The receptionist handed the man a sum of cash before he fled on foot.
No one was physically injured in the robbery.
The man was described as Caucasian in appearance, in his 30s, around 165cm tall, a pale complexion and wearing a grey-hooded jumper.
Police were still investigating.
