Masked men use gun in home invasion

A GROUP of masked men threatened three people at gun-point during a terrifying home invasion south-west of Brisbane overnight.

Police said three men wearing balaclavas broke into a home on Avonmore St, Edens Landing, about 12.30am and threatened a woman and two men with baseball bats and a gun.

The men demanded cash before hitting a 25-year-old man over the head and knees with a baseball bat before fleeing the scene with cash and personal items.

The 25-year-old was rushed to Logan Hospital where is being treated for a cut to his head.

Police believe a woman seen outside the premises during the incident may have been involved.

She is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in her early 20s, about 160cm tall with a large build.
