A WOMAN has been indecently assaulted while waiting for a train at Flinders St Station.
The 19-year-old was sitting on a chair on platform eight when an unknown man sat next to her at 2pm on May 4.
The man indecently assaulted the teenager and left the station by catching a train from platform five.
He is of Indian sub-continental appearance, aged in his late 20s with a medium build.
The man was wearing a grey top with dark strips down the sleeves and on the collar, white pants and dark shoes at the time of the incident.
He was talking on a phone when he approached the victim and was carrying a black laptop bag.
Investigators believe that the man may have approached a number of other women before the assault.
