HOMICIDE detectives have charged a 29-year-old man following the death of a 25-year-old man in Orbost last night.
It is alleged the two men were involved in a verbal altercation in Reed St, Orbost, about 6pm.
The 25-year-old man Orbost man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Orbost Hospital where he later died.
Samual Morrison, from Orbost, was charged with one count of murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Sale Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 25.
