A MAN is dead and at least one other is injured after a ute rolled in Melbourne's east tonight.
The man, in his late 30s, was in the front passenger seat when the driver lost control of the vehicle on Solomons Rd, Warragul, about 7.30pm.
The victim died at the scene while the driver, who police believe to be in his late 20s, was taken to hospital in Warragul.
A rear seat passenger, also believed to be in his late 20s, refused treatment.
The fatality brings the provisional road toll to 39, seven fewer than the same time last year.
