HE is known for experimenting with different hairstyles but John Travolta yesterday unveiled an interesting new facial addition - a mini-beard - as he touched down in Sydney.
The actor returns to Sydney Airport tonight to help Qantas officially celebrate its new Emirates partnership and uniforms.
A qualified pilot and long-time Qantas ambassador, Travolta arrived with wife Kelly Preston, daughter Ella, 13, and son Ben, 3, to headline the event alongside model Miranda Kerr. Aussie songstress Tina Arena with spearhead the entertainment, while Sarah De Bono will also perform at the lavish gala inside the A380 hangar.
Travolta's Sydney trip follows a family to the Gold Coast last week to celebrate Ben's birthday at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
At the time an onlooker described how the Hollywood superstar and his family blended in with the other park-goers. "He was just so lovely and down to earth. He was making jokes about our little boys and he didn't act like he was anything special," Penny Ferguson told The Gold Coast Bulletin.
