A VIETNAMESE woman who flew into Brisbane on Friday has been charged with importing a commercial quantity of heroin into Australia.
Thi Bach Tuyet Do, 58, who had flown from Vietnam, was arrested at Brisbane International Airport.
In Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday Chief Magistrate Brendan Butler remanded Do in custody until May 3.
She has been charged with importing a commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug.
Before she could appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court, Do was taken by ambulance from the watchhouse to hospital, after she began experiencing chest pains, the court heard.
There was no application for bail.
