A SEX predator has terrorised teenage girls in separate incidents in Melbourne's east.

The man, believed to be aged in his 20s, allegedly groped a young girl’s breast as she walked to school along Simon Ave in Rowville about 8.15am last Wednesday, March 13.

The girl managed to push the attacker away and he walked off towards Bridgewater Way.

The man is believed to have struck again 15 minutes later, approaching a second teenage girl at a bus stop on Eildon Pde.

Police have been told the man approached the bus stop from Taylors Lane before heading towards nearby tennis courts.

He then walked back towards the girl and stood opposite her, allegedly pulling his pants down and exposing himself before running off into nearby bushes.

The man is described as being around 183cm tall with very tanned skin and short to shaved brown hair.

At the time he was wearing a pale blue t-shirt and burgundy or pink shorts and white canvas shoes.

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

Anyone with information about the incidents or with information about the identity of the man is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
