Brochure balls-up exposes Laming to ire

BOWMAN MP Andrew Laming has apologised to constituents after sending out a flyer including a photo of a man exposing himself.

The flyer - sent recently to 50,000 voters in the Brisbane bayside seat - includes a series of photos of people celebrating Australia Day.

In one of the photos, a reveller is seen pulling down his pants and exposing himself.

Mr Laming yesterday acknowledged he had since been made aware of the offensive image and no more of the brochures would be distributed.

"All the brochures have been recalled, but it's really difficult because no one in the process was aware of this really tiny detail in the photograph, so obviously we've recalled them," he said.

"It was completely inadvertent and not picked up by anyone prior to being published. We'd apologise to anyone who saw it."

The Courier-Mail believes Mr Laming's office has received a handful of complaints from his Redlands constituents.
